About

Headway Salford,
Trafford & North
Manchester

Brain injury can challenge every aspect of your life – walking, talking, thinking and feeling and the losses can be severe and permanent. It can mean losing both the life you once lived and the person you once were.

We’re a charity in Salford, Trafford and North Manchester who provide information, support and social activities for people suffering from acquired brain injuries. We also support carers, family and friends. Perhaps most importantly, we offer the chance to share experiences knowing that the group members understand some of the problems and difficulties that acquired brain injury brings.

Our service offers the chance for people who have experienced brain injury to get together in a relaxed, supportive and informal environment.

We provide a day-centre service every Thursday from 10am until 3pm.
