Day-Centre
Service

We provide a fun and welcoming day-centre service, at which members can meet with others who are also living with brain injuries.

  • Information

At the day-centre we offer a range of fun interactive sessions both indoor (crafts, cooking, table tennis and pool) and outdoor (accessible cycling sessions, bowling and day trips out).

All activities are fully accessible and have an element of rehabilitation whilst working to improve personal skills. At the heart of all that we do is our aim to aid rehabilitation and help improve our members quality of life and improve skills of independence. Both working on physical health as well as mental health and overall wellbeing.

  • Availability

The day-centre is available every Thursday from 10am – 3pm, there is an option of attending for half a day if this is preferred (morning session: 10am till 12.30pm or afternoon session: 12.30pm till 3pm).

There is a charge of £45 for the service (£22.50 for half a day), some of the group receive funding from the local authority for this, others pay for themselves on an individual basis. We can help with applications for this funding, which is quite straightforward, especially if you are already in contact with a social worker or occupational therapist.

Please get in touch for an informal chat and to find out more.
